My client is a world renowned Internet company. They currently require an experienced Financial Editor Journalist to join their online financial publication team. As the Web Editor you will be responsible for generating ideas and creating stimulating content. You will be responsible for increasing traffic to the site and in driving users to and from related channels and raising the profile of personal finance throughout the company service.

The Editor will work with the senior manager to conceive and develop the channel’s long term editorial strategy. You will also work closely with other departments within the company and will seek in conjunction with them, to maximize existing commercial relationships and develop new relationships where applicable.

I am looking for someone who has an in depth knowledge of personal finance, economic issues and thrives on tackling a wide range of topics. You should have a strong journalistic / editorial background and preferably have experience of web publishing and you should demonstrate and ability to changing deadlines and priorities. This position requires someone who is open to new ideas and keen to stamp their mark on the channel as it grows.
