Calling all ‘big hitters’ in the commercial space – a rare opportunity has arisen at the biggest and best technology / digital media company in the world!

The remit for this role extends way beyond ad sales / trading deals and requires a hugely charismatic and well respected leader to drive the business forward.

The Role is responsible for bringing strategy and sales leadership to the EMEA Multi-National Sales team with a primary focus on growing Multi-National advertising revenue and customer satisfaction. This sales team is responsible for developing clients in their regional remit for multi-market campaigns both within their region, and for campaigns across other regions world wide.

The Sales Director is responsible for identifying the named set of target agencies and clients for development and partnering with country Sales Managers to set the overall business strategy and direction for their markets to maximize revenue performance, develop the teams, and engage clients.

In addition, the sales director manages the adoption and implementation of sales development and business processes to drive professionalism and discipline within the sales teams and to maximise profitability and ROI. People, organisation and effectiveness are key focuses.

The key deliverables for this role are profitable revenue and ad market share growth, customer satisfaction and retention, efficient business process execution, effective management, and the development of a high performing team of senior Sales Executives.

The bar is set extremely high with this role and candidates should only put themselves forward if they match the following criteria:

• Currently working at a top flight digital media owner with premium brands
• The highest level agency contacts in the UK and Europe
• Extensive management experience – teams of 10 – 30
• Proven ability to lay down successful global commercial strategy that delivers results
• Plan and execute strategy and business planning 12 months ahead
• A commercial background that is backed up by over-delivery on revenues / results
• Senior level board exposure
• A true passion for technology and digital advertising
• P & L experience
• An industry face and renowned public speaker
